Designed to be used with a single wire late model style alternator.
This is NOT meant to be used as a replacement for the amp gauge when using a two wire traditional alternator.
Notes: Voltmeters are designed to work with the new LS conversions and with some of today's modern Classic wiring update harnesses using a one wire late model style alternator.
Voltmeter was not original for 68-74. GM originally used amp gauges for 68-74 and were originally designed to use an amp gauge.
